If you think back to when you first created your Glitch account, you were given a few different options for signing up.  

 

You could sign up with either:

• Facebook
• GitHub
• Google, or
• Email

 

 

It’s important to remember how you initially signed up so you know which Sign in with… option to select. (If you forget the method you initially used to create your account, and then sign in with a different option, you could unintentionally create a new and separate Glitch account.  Don’t worry, it happens! Here's how to close an account you don't need.

 

Using a password to login:

Once your account has been created, you will have the option to use a password to login to your account.

 

To set up a password:

1. Login to your account.
2. Click on your avatar at the top-right corner of the screen to reveal your account options menu.
3. Select Account Settings.
4. Enter your password, confirm and then click Set Password.

 

Note: The password feature is optional.  If you did not previously set up a password, you will be redirected to the home page if you try to use the Reset Password option.
